This isn't a scan but a genuine Penguin Reissue.Contains the words and tunes for what has become, thanks to the original edition, an essential part of the modern English (and Irish too) folk song repertoire: As Sylvie Went a-walking, The Bramble Briar (Bruton Town), The Banks of Sweet Primroses, Lucy Wan, Lovely Joan, .cetcwith enough unfamiliar songs and an introduction by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Bert Lloyd to make the book worth while.
