Comments Lewis Carroll: Fragments of a Looking-Glass

  • T. Greenwood

A biography in the guise of a glossary. Alice to Zeno's paradox. Clearly well-researched but it seems to assume the reader's general familiarity with both the life and literature of Dodgson/Carroll. Probably not the best place to start for those looking for a traditional biography. However, some interesting and well-supported revelations about both the life and work of Lewis Carroll.

  • Leonie

This was a strange and disjointed collection of essays or paragraphs about aspects of Carroll's life without any real added colour or illumination. I think the only thing I learned about him was that he was anti-vivisection.
