My Review of His Flower Queen by Lena Hart This is my fourth story by this author and she has never failed to deliver and is fast becoming another of my favorite authors. This is Nina and Gabe’s story. All I can say is wow!!! This story has suspense, attempted murder, jealousy, drugs, lies, deception, hatred, romance, love mistrust and finally redemption. This story was intense and fast moving. The author brings the drama from page 1 which is how I love my books. Now as far as I am concerned eve [...]

My first read by the this author. Can't remember what prompted me to read this book. The characters and plot were okay. The story took at left turn at 60%. Got kind of weird with the ex-wife towards the middle. The story starts with Gabe and Nina already 7 months into their relationship so we don't see the build up to their love. That made it kind of hard to get into them. It was okay. Entertaining enough to keep me reading. I think the plot and characters needed more fleshing out.

A good read!I don't know if I would have continued a relationship like Gabe and Nina's. It has too many lies and secrets, how much pain can the heart take? Nice ending, though, especially the part when Nina punched Meredith. That was my favorite part of the story.

    Read revised version.

The wishy washy I love you I'm gonna leave you of the heroine wore on my last nerve.

Godawful. The writing wasn't bad, don't get me wrong. There were no major errors and relatively few minor errors. The characters, however, were revolting. The hero Gabe is introduced in Chapter Three as a man who, when faced with a woman who is justifiably angry with him and trying to get away from him, physically subdues her, pins her down on the bed and then proceeds to argue with her until she gives in and has sex with him. A man who kept major secrets. I'm just going to say this - if you cann [...]

This wasn't really a bad story. Think of it more as unfinished. We are immediately dropped into this story, there is no time to get to know the characters or who they are. We are just dropped into the middle of a story that seemingly has no beginning and doesn't really have wgat I would call a proper end. Other than that, it was fine, it was just missing some things.

Loved it!!Gabe and Nina were such a perfect couple. Their story was well done. Nina finds out that Gabe hasn't been completely forthcoming with all the details of his life and Gabe is afraid that those details will make her run away. Their story of love, honesty, trust and details was was heartwarming . Great book!

It jumped around a bit like a book written in bits and pasted together, it wasn't bad but it wasn't something I'd recommend.

  • Lizzie b

This is a really good story. It's difficult to explain too much as Have has secrets which are the story. But jealous exes, mystery plot and a man who loves her to bits.

  • Cynthia Wayman

DisappointedI was very disappointed in the abrupt ending. It needed a bit more something to be rated higher by me

  • Dawn Pressel

Liar. For every important fact this man lied The ex should have been arrested. This book had potential but it fell flat

I stumbled across Lena Hart’s work on Twitter last week. After scrolling through her page, I decided to purchase one of her books on a whim. His Flower Queen is the first book in Hart’s series, The Queen Quartette. After reading the first two pages, I just knew that we would be for a tale of secrets and ridiculous revenge. We meet Regina Conners as she is coming to terms with a pretty big revelation concerning her boyfriend, Gabriel Alexander. Their relationship, while full of love and affec [...]

His Flower Queen is the story of a casino mogul, Gabriel “Gabe” Alexander, and Regina “Nina” Connors, a PR maven, who is hired by Gabe and his partner David Carrone, to do PR for their casino Royal Courts. Problem is, Nina doesn’t know that Gabe is part owner of the resort where she’s recently been hired. Their relationship begins with a hint of scandal.Gabe is married, technically separated, however he’s never mentioned any of this to Nina. They continue to see each other for mont [...]

I obtained this ARC in exchange foe an honest review. Nina Connors attended a rooftop party and was about to steal the imperfect tulip out of an arrangement when a pair of green eyes caught her in the act from across the crowded room. To her amazement, the man headed straight to her, plucked the flower from its arrangement, and put it behind her ear! They soon learned that they had more in common and three months later, she gave Gabe Alexander her virginity. She told Gabe that she was a diabetic [...]

This is a nice story of two people who fall in love while one decides that he is not going to tell the woman he claims to love everything about himself but has her tell him everything about herself this is Gabe and Nina's story Gabe is very dishonest because he didn't even tell Nina his full name and somethings about himself but not that he was part owner in a Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas but arranged for her to get a promotion and come to Vegas as PR manager for the business she thinks that she go [...]

This is the second book in this series. I enjoyed Athena and David's story. There's a lot going on in this story; mystery, betrayal, deceit, chemistry, and forgiveness. It was a well-written story. There's s few editing errors but they don't distract from reading. I received an ARC for an honest review of His Best Post Queen.

The Flower Queen is the beginning of a series of novellas that is centered around the business of Royal Courts Casino in Las Vegas. This story was a relationship that was built off of lies by the hero. Some I could see his reasoning while others I just couldn't as it didn't make any sense. Nina was a naive, virginal woman while Gabriel (Gabe) was a millionaire who never portrayed that side of himself to Nina. As a couple, they had a lot of issues to deal with and some of it seemed to work out to [...]

I just love these mobster books! This one is full of suspense, killing drugs and other "good" stuff I always feel like I'm watching an old gangster in black and white on t.v.Ms, Hart sure can write them. I stayed up and finished in one night. I just couldnt stop to see what was going happen next.I loved the way that the author put these two characters together. Not in all book that I feel the characters emotions and thoughts. The author tell what each is thinking and feeling at that time so I go [...]

Gave & Nina- BRAB Online Book ClubThis was an enjoyable read for me. Gabe and Nina's relationship started with a lot of secrets and lies on Gabe's part. He felt an immediate attraction to Nina the minute he met her. After spending time with her, he fell head over heels but was reluctant to tell her the truth, not wanting to lose her.A series of events, crazy ex-wife, disgruntled associates resulted in making this an intriguing book for me. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I totally read thus series of books in reverse order. In "His Flower Queen", the reader is treated to Gabe and Nina's beautiful story that is intriguing and engaging from beginning to end. We get to meet most of the main characters that are vital in books two and three. I highly recommend this series from Lena Hart as a must read.

I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about this one. I did like it. A lot. However, I had some issues with the her in that sometimes his actions made me really, really mad. -.- And I felt like the heroine caved for him, a bit too much. But by the end of it, he redeemed himself. I will read the rest in this series though because the writing itself was excellent.

I was given this book as a gift in exchange for my honest review. Great story about two people falling in love. Has a mixture of about everything in it (suspense, attempted murder, jealousy, drugs, lies, deception, hatred, romance, and finally redemption). Very good book to read. I can't wait to read more books from this author.

  • Cristene M.

I really enjoyed this book, loved the character development of the characters. Enjoyed Gabe & Nina's story, their past & present. There's also a great assortment of other characters that mesh really well the underlying story. Looking forward to their books as well.
