3 - "I'm not a man for complications." Stars.Although The Bachelors Baby was an enjoyable addition to the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series, I would have to say that it is my least favorite so far. ”You’ve got a handful of screw yourself.”As the title is pretty explanatory as to what occurs between Meg and Linc, I don’t think a massive run-down of the storyline is required in my review.Firstly, this story had enough potential in it to not need the erroneous issues that Meg bought too [...]

After reading the title and the blur of this book I thought to myself: "This is going to be a totally cliché book." And it was totally was but I loved it nonetheless :DThe action was pretty predictable. Boy meats girl (Ok. like gorgeous hunk :P), instant attraction, girl buys boy at a fundraiser bachelor auction, one night of hot passion, girl leaves and after a few weeks PUFF!!! Hello baby! (as in a little human being) :DDespite the fact that is was very predictable once I stared reading it I [...]

The Bachelor's Baby is the third in a six part novella series from Tule Publishing Montana Born Bachelor Auction. This is Meg Canon and Linc Brady's story. The title is self explanatory what the story is about. After the auction Meg and Linc have a one night stand which is full of passion. The morning after Meg goes back to her life in Chicago until one day she discovers she is pregnant so she quits Chicago and comes home to Marietta to raise her baby with or without Linc. How will Linc take the n [...]

Another wonderful addition to the series. After this book, I am seriously contemplating moving to Marietta, Montana now. I loved how everything tied together. Loved Linc and Meg together. I'm not usually crazy about the unexpected baby trope but Dani Collins made it work. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this series or anything Marietta related for that matter. :)ARC provided by Tule Publishing.

3.5 starsLinc Brady thought the bidding for the Montana bachelor was a joke. He never wanted to be auctioned, he didn’t do this kind of thing. But Meg Canon was persistent, and boy was she lucky enough to win him on the bidding. It was supposed to be just one night with Meg. One night of lust and need. And after that fateful evening, they both agreed that they wouldn’t do relationships. Meg went back to Chicago to live her life as a news anchor. Things turned sour when she learned that her ja [...]

Review written: May 2015Star Rating: ★★½☆☆ Heat Rating: ☀☀☼☼☼An Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book was received free via Netgalley for an honest review. This is definitely one of the more predictable reads in this series. Adopted woman with identity issues. Check. Man who lost parent early and has abandonment issues. Check. Unplanned pregnancy and woman feels betrayed when man is shocked and pissed. Check. There is a shocking lack of depth, not only in the secondary charact [...]

With a likeable couple and a lovely, if not somewhat predictable storyline, The Bachelor's Baby is another good addition the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series. A series that can be read in any order, or as standalones. Linc and Meg aren't my favourite couple in the series, but Linc could well be my favourite man. He and Meg are good together with understandable vulnerabilities, and whereas she openly struggles somewhat which manifests itself in a form of need, he has buried his. He's bossy, p [...]

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review! This is the first book that I have read in this series and my first by Dani Collins. I finished this book very fast because I had to know what was going to happen. I loved Meg, she was funny and although she had a ruff past she did not walk around like her world was ending; she just kept trying to push through all of the craziness surrounding her. The funniest scene to me is when she explains to her brother who she is with after [...]

  • Margaret Sholders

This book starts with a fund raiser for a handicapped boy, Josh, and his mother Molly. The highlight is a Bachelor Auction. Meg is back in town from Chicago. Spoiler. Lincoln has retired from working on the oil rigs to ranch in Marietta. They meet and she gets him into the auction. She bids and so does he and when it's over he pays her bid too. Then it gets tricky. Neither want to marry. He is afraid of love and she is adopted and worries why her mother gave her away. They both like each other, [...]

I was gifted this story for an honest review. The Bachelor's Baby is the story of two lonely people that need each other and don't even recognize it. Meg has always felt that she was not good enough or deserving of the love she secretly craves. Linc is scared to put his heart on the line because of his fear that his happiness will disappear. Dani Collins does a good job of making you feel the disillusionment and pain of these characters. AN EXCEPTIONAL STORY.

**3.5 Stars**After finishing Bachelor at Her Bidding I was a little hesitant to jump into the next book. While I didn’t love The Bachelor’s Baby as much as the first one, it was still quite enjoyable. The relationship between Meg and Linc was well written, though at times I felt like it wasn’t natural. I really liked the character development of Linc in the short span of time.

Got there in the endIt was a bit slow at the start but when it got going it was a pleasant read, I like the chemistry and I thought the one upmanship at the grocery store was funnyI was glad that Linc pulled his finger out and went for what he wantedI give it 4 great stars ****

Note: This ebook was provided by Tule Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.Meg Canon has a successful career in Chicago but her hometown of Marietta, Montana has always been her safety net of sorts. She knows what it feels like to not be wanted, what with her being put up for adoption by her birth parents and her not being able to locate them even after a public appeal. As much as possible, she distances herself from anything serious with men, but that doesn't stop her from [...]

Meg Cannon knows her subjects she does research on and Lincoln Brady was one of them. So, when he asked her for a one nighter while doing a good deed for her she was put out. When she was greeted outside the grocery store by Lily wanting to know if she thought her brother, Blake, would do a local fund raiser for a young man injured and now paralyzed. Meg said no because he was now engaged. Asked if she could think of anyone and well… Linc (Lincoln) came to mind. He is new to town. He bought th [...]

*I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review. All thoughts are my own. I was not paid by the publisher or the author for my review.*This isn’t the first “oops I’m pregnant” type of book that I’ve ever read. But I think this is my favorite. I’ve never read anything by Dani Collins before, and I have to say that I really enjoyed myself. In most of these books that I read, the guy gets pissed off once he finds out he accidentally knocked up the leading lady, blam [...]

Another winner from Dani Collins! I can't believe I hadn't read anything by her until last week lolFor those of you who read my reviews on a regular basis, you know I have asmallweakness for category romances that most people find cheesy. I don't find them cheesy at all. Ok, at least not all of them. Anyway, it's safe to say I've read my share of them, but I've never managed to read one where there's a baby that results from a one night stand before. I don't know how I missed this lol So, I was [...]

The Bachelor's Baby by Dani Collins was such a great read! I really wish I could give this story six stars, because it totally deserves it. The emotions were right on point, the characters were well developed, and of course the story itself was well-written. Once I started reading, there was no way I was going to tear my eyes away from my kindle. Even at the end, I just wanted to re-read the story again, and experience it again for the first time. The writing was very good and the characters kep [...]

Lots of skipping. Very basic, bare bones. Added 'drama' for effect that had no reason to be there. The stalker was useless in the end. Because there was so very little effort put into the story, the h's (and to some extent the H's) insecurities that kept coming out 'to add spice to the bland story' were enough to make me want to punch her, a lot. If the story had of been 'fuller', I probably would have gritted my teeth and overlooked it, but because her OTT whiney 'N O O O O B O O O D Y Y Y L O [...]

I have a couple of books from Dani Collins' Love in Montana Series and this is the recent copy I got. Maybe it was not the time yet to read the other books because right when I had my copy of The Bachelor's Baby, I read it immediately. Having said that, I will be reading the other books from this series soon since I liked what I read here in Book 3. There are 5 books but there is no need to read them in order, they can be read as standalone. There are different couples in each book and in this [...]

This is the first book I have read of Dani Collins but it definitely won’t be the last! The Bachelor’s Baby is the 3rd book in the Love in Montana series and yet is a stand-alone book.Marietta, Montana is a small home town where everyone knows everyone and their business (I’m sure some people can relate, I know I can) but where you also feel like a part of a family. Meg, who is a TV personality from Chicago ‘happens’ to come visit her brother Blake unexpectedly. Meg moved to Chicago to [...]

  • Cindy Caron

Another great book in the ongoing series of Love in Montana, this book, the story of Linc and Meg, will have you in tears and stitches, all at the same time, as Meg plays a formidable part in luring Linc to become one of the "available bachelors" in the bachelor auction to raise funds for Josh Dekker and his mom Molly, after a near fatal accident that left Josh with a spinal cord injury. The playful banter that sizzles between these two is destined to either fizzle out or explode, and either way [...]

What An Amazing Book!I loved this book by Dani Collins because of the excellent writing, intriguing storyline and amazing characters Meg, a news reporter who has been stalked by an obsessive fan so she goes home to Montana to clean out her old room for her brother’s increasing family, and to put some space between her and her stalker. She encounters trouble with he truck she’s driving and Lance, a newbie to her town comes to her rescue. When sparks fly between them, she decides to torment hi [...]

  • Heather

This book is spicier than Dani Collins' usual books and contains on-screen sex and cursing (including a couple of f-bombs) but it also had the sweetness that makes her books so great. I was surprised by how much I liked both Meg and Linc throughout the whole book. Granted, Linc was a tool for a very short period of time, but I actually really liked that part because it was so realistic. That kind of surprising info cannot always met with sunshine and rainbows, even in romance stories, and I thou [...]

Needs More…I really enjoyed the meet cute and the fun dialogue between the H and h, but I’ll have to say, that after those first few meetings, nothing else sticks in my memory – well, except the expected pregnancy. Guess I was expecting more breath in the plot, more twists or plot variation, more conflict, just more. Also, the h seemed a bit immature at times. Ms. Collins is a talented writer so I will continue to look forward to reading her other works.

  • Denise Vasak

This book was fine. It was quick and lacked a LOT of depth, but the "relationship sparks" were there. I don't understand why the author bothered with that side - side story for Meg. She already had the main story with dude and all that brought with them and the adoption, why add more? Especially if you're going to cop out with the ending to that piece. Yeah, I wasn't a fan, but again the central characters were fine together.
