One of the better books by this author. As a scientist, I identify with the geeky girl in the story.

Whistleblower started with Marley running for her life(literally) because of a special project being worked on by a select few at Derrian Labs, her employer, and she didn’t stop until the end of the book. Fortunately, she happened to bump into (literally) help in the form Zan Masters, a man whose former military experience not only helped him appreciate the reason she escaped with the proof of what was taking place, but he had the skills to help her get that information where it needed to go. [...]

This was a first for me by this author. I can honestly say it was a wonderful first. I really enjoyed the way the author was able to make me feel like I was there. Several times I felt myself on the edge of my seat, OR holding my breath.Marley, our female protagonist, has discovered a drug the company shes working for has created. So she against all odds has decided she must do whats right, and runs with the proof. I was a little confused how she thought she would get away with it (without our " [...]

The action in this book starts on the first page and keeps going until the last few pages of the book. Marley is a bit a genius but her exceptional brain has made her an outcast. She also stutters when she is nervous which makes her even more self conscience. Zan is an x military man. He has had 2 failed marriages and has given up finding a special someone to spend his life with. The two literally run into each other while Marley is running for her life. Zan is exactly what Marley needs to stay [...]

  • Aimee (Getting Your Read On)

This book starts off strong and just never lets up. It's fast paced and action packed. The suspense is full on. The love develops quickly- maybe more quickly than I really believed but I'm a girl who loves LOVE so it's all good for me. I liked this book, I liked the characters and I'm looking forward to reading another book by this author. (this was my first book by this author)Content: Some mild violence, kissing- Clean!

Well, I read a lot of romance and erotica, so this was a bit of a wholesome little surprise. There was absolutely no sex in this book and I still enjoyed it. The one thing I really appreciated was that military suspense ALWAYS seems to have the go to guy turn out to be the bad guyrry for the ***Spoiler**** but thank you Alysia for NOT doing that.

This is a new author for me. I liked the book. The suspense part was great and it kept me interested. It could rate a four or maybe even five stars. The romance part was insta-love (fictionally believable though it was for me) and really too much for me. It was clean so that wasn't the problem. It was just so MUCH--kissing, being crazy about each other, etc in proportion to the rest of the story. This for me was more like 2 or 3 stars. I plan to read the book about Zan's brother Zac but fear thi [...]
