Everyone is unique. I’m always amazed at how accepting my children are of everyone around them. My kids don’t seem to notice things like wheelchairs and skin colour, they just see the person behind it all. I hope they never lose that innocence.“Imagine” by Karen Kilpatrick is the story of the Pumpkinheads, a group of fun loving kids who are having fun imagining all sorts of fun situations. When they change the sky to purple and the grass blue they learn a some very important life lessons [...]

Imagine, a book from the Pumpkinheads series, is a delightful book to teach young children how to pretend and that things are good even if they are different. How fun to fly, be on TV or be a robot who makes green tower cakes. And what if you could have a magic wand that can switch the world around. Illustrations by Tara Louise Campbell and Matthew Wilson are bright and colorful. Words are simple and easily read by an early reader and yet the book is sure to be enjoyed by even the youngest child [...]

That is when they talk about different colours and having differences are beautiful. ``Colours don`t change what things are - that`s very true. Colours make the world beaut [...]

I received a copy of this ebook in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own. This book is PERFECT for beginner readers. The pictures are bright and fun and the story is adorable. Had me wanting it to be longer, just so I could read more about what the kids were imagining. Like the other "pumpkin head" books, it has excellent questions to get the conversation started at the end of the book. I give this one a solid five stars. Great book for kids and great gift idea too!
