Finely tuned story!! Cherime MacFarlane is a wonderful, polished writer with very subtle skills at building a love story from conversation to the first touch. In this story we see a true-to-life version of a strong, self-sufficient Alaskan, backwoods woman. Molly, the main character is self-described as "not having a lot of good sense." She loves to drive the Alaskan out-back and a cousin "needed someone a bit nuts" to freight one small vintage plane engine and exchange it for another. So, no su [...]

I truly love Cherime's characters. Simple and usually a very strong female character which I do enjoy. This is a great series to jump into on a relaxing day for a easy read. Of course since it's a series it doesn't end there so you need to keep reading. Molly was another fantastic strong women who has some internal struggles as well as him that they need to resolve to truly move on. Highly recommend this series so just jump into it!to say that this book, that I initially didn't like, drew me in, [...]

5 star life and loveThe characters of Molly and Lou grow on the reader and each other as does the wonderful surroundings of Alaska in this book, Road Talk.So much great story is packed into this book in theLife and Love in Alaska series. What begins as a business trip becomes intimate due to the confining environment and as the personal questions and desires arise. This would be a great serial to follow.

I like this author's writing style and though I prefer fantasy (Brain Waves was superb), I do think the way she tackles down to earth ordinary folks is done particularly well, bringing them alive within sweet and interesting tales. These two characters make for a great short story and could even evolve into more.Well done.
