Another one in my crime listening marathon, also one I've heard before but not reviewed.Wonderful story of a surprising, seemingly impossible murder mystery with a thrilling, even more astonishing solution.Very, very entertaining.Classic Christie.

Agatha Christie is my favorite. I adore her books even in the rattiest 1960s pulp paperback. But listening to the BBC dramatizations is like every Agatha-lover's dream come true. Death in the Clouds is one of Agatha's best mysteries. And this version is transporting.

A lady is murdered on a plane on which one of the passengers is Hercule Poirot. We are then lead down many twists and turns, which lead eventually to the killer.I didn't warm to the characters much, except Poirot, and the murder itself seemed a bit far fetched to pull off easily to my mind, but this audiobook was entertaining enough for my commute today :-)!

I enjoyed listening to the story. I've read it several times and listened to it at least once before. It just works! (Butyeah, Moffat is too British as Poirot. (I can't help it if David Suchet is THE Poirot, can I?))

I really don't like abridged versions of books and hesitate to review them as such. Mr. Moffatt is ok at best and the story is so truncated that I feel like you don't really get to hear Christie's craft. But a mystery's a mystery and I value that.
