This '64 paperback unfolds much like Clue (the 1985 movie) but ends completely differently, with some strange political drama woven in that seemed a little unnecessary but I get it, it adds a bit of color and intelligence. I'm kind of wondering if Clue lifted plot points from this book or if all 60s mysteries had these elements? Well, I'll find out - while this was my first Ludlow-Montero / Simon Nash mystery, I liked it enough to go buy out Seattle's Mystery Bookshop of 3 other Nash mysteries.

A group of strangers meet up at a quiet country inn where one of them is murdered. It was good enough to kill a couple of hours while I was stuck at the hospital, but it wasn't very interesting or well written.
