Hana is a brat! A lovely and lovable brat who is stubborn and at times single minded. She also seems accident prone and is still chased by bad guys. Her husband's secrets do not help her fragile personality. And I am still in love with Hana and will read the next book as soon as I finish this review.Read this well written series from the beginning. The characters are well defined with some of their personalities disclosed slowly and with care. I recommend this series and K. T. Bowes as an author [...]

I bought this straight after I'd read the first, along with the rest of the series. Once you've entered Hana's life, you just have to know what happens next and, unlike many second books in a series, this book definitely didn't disappoint. The first heady days of Hana's second marriage take a turn for the perverse as both her family and his complicate what should have been a relaxing honeymoon. Hana's such an intriguing, complex character - on the one hand, she's the widow who brought up two tee [...]

Hana's new house up in the Hakarimata mountain range was inspired by a house that I drove past every day and could just see peeking out of the trees high above the road. Sadly it burned down a couple of years ago, but its legacy lives on in my novel. In this book, I felt that I was able to develop the characters more [...]
