So the last of the Coleman boys finally meets his match and can I say what a wonderful ending to the series this is. It was obvious that cocky Jessie would need not just an average female but one who would challenge him and certainly Dare is up for the job. They may have just one night of no holds barred passion but four months later and still Jessie can't forget the red head who stole his breath. For Dare it's not that easy as she's tried to find her sexy cowboy but her reason ? Well that's abo [...]

***4.5 ‘Sometimes It Takes A Woman…’ Stars***As happy as I am to FINALLY have Jesse’s story, it is a bit bittersweet since this is the final novel in the Six Pack Ranch novel, but for the last hurrah Ms. Arend did a wonderful not only with Jesse’s story, but with coming full circle with the series and ALL of characters we’ve come to love. It was a fun, smexy read that brought out all the feels and despite knowing this is the final one, had me wanting to spend more time with the Colem [...]

AND BABIES. That warning in the blurb doesn't lie. The Colemans are a prolific bunch and they're not afraid to get physical with their special someone. So there are babies. SO MANY BABIES. (It's GLORIOUS!)But this book isn't entirely about babies (although they do play a starring role). This book is about Jesse and Dare and family and finding forgiveness. Jesse was a wreck when we last saw him. He was beating himself up and making everyone's life tough because of it. From his perspective, runnin [...]

4 stars-ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 18, 2017There’s no distance you can run to escape the past. Too stubborn to face his sins, Jesse Coleman bolted from the Six Pack Ranch, only to fall straight into the arms of a beautiful stranger. Twelve hours later, the seductive firebrand is nothing but a whiskey-laced memory—but one powerful enough to convince Jesse tracking down his elusive lover is worth the effort. Darilyn Hayes figured it was her lucky night when the sexiest cowboy in Alberta [...]

Oh Jesse; stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. Unable to admit to his family, with one exception, what he did and unable to forgive himself, he decides to 'solve' his problem by running away. And runs right into Dare, also stubborn, but also sexy and smart and mischievous. They have a great time then go their separate ways, but are brought back together thanks to the internet. Jesse grew a lot in this book, and learned about forgiving one's self, knowing when to confess and when to stay silent, and abo [...]

And then there was Jesse, confused, self-absorbed, cocky, and stubborn. We knew it wouldn't be an easy fall, a quick fall, or a simple fall when he found his woman. It would be hot, sweaty, fun, and crazy, but she'd have to be a good match for all of Jesse's pros and cons. Luckily, Dare meets him on every level, and exceeds him, because she sees his heart and his emotions. She sees not just what he shows to the world, or what he thinks, but his feelings driving his actions and reactions. Others [...]

Oh my word! The romance build in between Dare and Jesse is beautifully executed. If you are looking for a romance hit where the guy is not a jerk or controlling and the girl is NOT TSTL, this is your book, in fact this is your series. There was a time when I desperately wanted to be a member of the Walton's family when I grew up. There is a new family in town, move over Waltons, the Coleman Clan is now my IT Family, along with Thompson & Sons. These stories are not syrupy sweet either, these [...]

Good conclusion to the series. Nice to see Jesse work his way back to the family. Dare was a wonderful partner for him. They were both a little slow with their feelings, but I guess it was understandable given their pasts and how they got together in the first place. Lots of wrap up with the whole fam-damily too.I listened to the audio and it was ok. The narrator isn't a favorite, but works when audio is the better option for me.

My favorite fictional familyI'm going to miss these people and their stories. I know that sounds silly, but Miss Vivian has created such a wonderful world, with the series ending, it feels a bit like moving away from home. So much so, that I'm hoping (HINT) that occasionally we'll get a little update here and there. And well, truthfully, I think there's a story or two to tell about the original Sick Pack beginning with Mike and Marion. and now we're headed to Heart Falls you did mention Cowboys, [...]

It was with grateful thanks tinged with sadness that I started this book. I have followed this series from the beginning when Jaxi was determined to get Blake to see her as a women. So I feel like I know Jessie quite well, so it was a treat to follow his journey with Dare and their hea. When Dare met Jessie for the first time it was an emotionally bad time for both of them. So a night of drunken hot sex was remembered by both parties for different reasons. Jessie was trying to find Dare because h [...]

So enjoyed Jesse and Dare's story. Fun moments, swoony-sweet moments, and of course, sexy ones, too. :) I'm behind on this series (um, the last book I read was 3 -- Mt TBR problems!) and reading RMH reminded me that I love Arend's writing and this big ol' family especially. I need to hurry and catch up on 4-10. And I cannot wait to see Caleb meet his match in the new spin-off series! Will the bad boy ever grow up? That has been the question throughout the entire series. Jesse is the quintessential bad boy. He does whatever he wants, whenever he wants, with whoever he wants and damn the consequences. Until one hot night of passion with a stranger. Little did they know, but Jesse has super-sperm and Dare would end up pregnant from their one night of drinking and debauchery.Four months later they have their reunion thanks to a scantily clad picture taken that night and her blog [...]

It's always a little bittersweet when a series comes to a conclusion. Sometimes I'm glad that it's the end of a series, but in this case I'm a little sad that but the good news is that it ends with a terrific send off.Jesse Coleman has had a fall out with his brothers and while he's away licking his wounds, he meets Dare at the bar where she is pounding back shots having her own little celebration. They both end up drinking their sorrows and enjoying some naked time in Dare's hotel room afterwar [...]

I was a bit leery to read this one for a couple of reasons. The first is that is the last in the series and I really like this one, the second was Jesse. I've never been a big fan of Jesse, found him to be a childish, selfish jerk, so wasn't sure that I could root for him to find his HEA. I'm happy to say that I didn't need to be leery at all, I even found myself liking and even feeling a bit sorry for Jesse. As this one opened we were shown the old Jesse, one who didn't really think with his big [...]

I’m sad that this is the last book in this series. I’ve enjoyed this series a lot & loved watching the family grow. I love how author Vivian Arend has used this last book to begin a new series as well by introducing us to the family of Silver Stone Ranch. Jesse, the last of the brothers & mired in his anger & embarrassment meets Dare, a sexy no holds bar, strong woman. They meet on a low day for each other, Dare is remembering the decade anniversary of the loss of her family & [...]

My Thoughts:The Cover: Could you find two sexier models?? The Plot: While I found that Dare and Jesse's story was a little drawn out, it was still a very good story. I think I have just been reading a little too many werewolf and vampire books! Rocky Mountain Home is a wonderful read set in a beautiful picturesque landscape. Having spent 3 years in a little town in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, I could almost see the pastures and fields that Vivian describes. But the story, Dare and Jess [...]

Jesse Coleman left town without saying goodbye to his family especially his beloved twin brother. Running away from his problems wasn't the smartest thing but it led him straight into his destiny. Darilyn Hayes is having her own get away party of one when Jesse walks in to the bar she is drowning old sad memories in. They hit it off right away and after a unforgettable night Jesse wakes up alone. Neither one forgets the other and when Dari realizes she's pregnant she needs to try and find Jesse. [...]

Rocky Mountain Home by Vivian Arend is a fun and slightly emotional read. It is the love story between Darilyn Hayes, a blogger, and Jesse Coleman, a rancher trying to find himself. Dare and Jesse meet in a bar, get drunk, and subsequently spend one night experiencing the best sex of their lives. About a month later Dare realizes she is pregnant, and then tries many ways to notify her one-night-stand. Luckily a picture on her blog comes to the rescue. The rest of the story is about [...]

A very well written book by this author. Was not sure how Jesse was going to be redeemed after his atrociaous behaviour.Jesse took a long time to grow up in his own book and I was concerned it was not going to happen. We really coasted along with Jesse doing and saying the right things but not really believing it. It was a very slow progression from immaturity and selfishness to being a stand up Coleman man for him, but to give him his due he did get there but it felt as if his heart was not into [...]

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!Jesse was being stubborn. All he had to do was say that he was sorry.Instead, he decided to run away. Such a baby!On the road, he meet Darilyn. They hit it off. They had one night stand, and they thought it would be the end of it.1 night to blow off steam for both of them. How wrong were they?Soon enough, Darilyn found out that the one night stand had a side effect. When Jesse found out, he was not going t [...]

I was so torn reading this book. First of all I enjoyed it soo much but at the same time I was sad to say goodbye to one of my favourite families. I never thought that Jesse would be able to redeem himself because, as some of you might know, he was a real prick in previous books and I didn’t like him at all. Vivian has done a remarkable job in making Jesse realise all his faults and being honest about it. Jesse and Dare were great together; I just loved their journey throughout this amazing bo [...]

What a way to end a spectacular series, and lead you into the next great cowboy series. Jesse grabbed my heart at the beginning of the series. He just has a way of reaching out and grabbing a hold of it and you don't want him to let go. Dare that name fits her perfectly. She has a way of reaching in and touching you heart and soul. As you read this last book of the series it captures you, and you can't put it down until the end. When you reach the end you want to cry. There are no words to put d [...]

I had been in the Joel camp and other than excited to read another Rocky Mountain House, not as excited to read Jesse's story. Once again I was hooked from Page 1. This series has made me a true Vivian Arend fan, but this book put me back into Jesse's camp as well;) Dare turned out to be a most amazing woman, who if I met the real life version would be honored to call a friend. Buckaroo, how underlying adorabletally and completely. Hot always very hot, sometimes I almost felt like a voyeur (in s [...]

4.5⭐️ This book was just lovely! Few nice steamy scenes & the rest a beautiful story. Perfect ending to the Six Pack Ranch series & of course leaves us wanting more about Dare's family so I'll be waiting to read where that series goes next. I loved reading about Jesse finding his way home, the connection between Dare & Jessie was there right from the start even if they couldn't see it everyone else could. The book was a little predictable but with getting the HEA Vivian Arend wri [...]

Awesome loving family with Jesse and Darelyn's story Jesse and Dare's story is full of forgiveness, family, getting to know each other, creating new life, building a new and wonderful life of love! Excellent story, end of the Rocky Mountain House series, but the beginning of a tie-in series from Dare's family, her brother Caleb, and Jessie's cousin Tamara(releases this fall) Can't wait! Love everything this author writes-sexy, loving, family, with HEAs, all books can be read alone but the series [...]

This book was excellent! The new people introduced in this book was a much needed infusion. I am glad Vivian will be using this new family in a new series. Jesse and Dare's journey had a lot of twist and turns. The 6-pack Coleman Clan was great in allowing Jesse to come back into the family without of fanfare. All the daughter-in-laws if Marion's made Dare feel welcome and included into their HUGE family. Sad to see this series end, but look forward to the new series coming from it.
