    I don't want to do a spoiler, so I will just say that I liked this book and the only reason I didn't love it is personal preference (I am sure others will think differently about this and that is what makes the world go round) on something that I can't really share or I will spoil the book for everyone else. However I do recommend this and look forward to the sequel.

    Fantastic!Is it a mistake to fall in love with the first woman you meet? It begins with a hilarious encounter and the beginning of something special. There were more of these funny moments. The scene with Katya at the top of the stairs, I couldn't read anymore, I was laughing so hard my stomach hurts.     This is one of three romantic gift books that I received from my BFF. She did such a wonderful and thoughtful job selecting them all. My goodness, just thinking about the relatively quick progression from Alison and Alexandra meeting through a chance shopping encounter and disagreement over a so perfect plaid skirt, becoming close friends, and then lovers, brings tears to my eyes.     A really enjoyable book though in my opinion, it was a little long for the amount of plot. I loved reading about the girls' relationship and the process through which Aly became strong enough to honor her truth, especially in the face of adversity.
