Burn Me is a super hot, super sexy, and super quick read for me. I love the firefighter side of things and the detail that Shelley Watters goes into is just amazing! Any book that can keep me on my toes while still managing to maintain a sexy, seductive side is a winner in my mind.Burn Me was my first Shelley Watters book and I have to say that it was very well written and engaged me from the beginning. The story line was unique and interesting, I love a good hot mystery! I do have to admit that [...]

Review originally posted at Ramblings From This ChickBurn Me is the first book that I have read by Shelley Watters, and I found it to be really enjoyable. This one had everything I look for in a good read, and I really liked that I never knew what would happen next. This one kept me guessing until the very end, and I had to know how everything played out.Katrina Hale lost her brother in a fire when they were kids, and ever since it has been her goal to become a firefighter and help save lives. S [...]

I'll admit, reading the summary for BURN ME, I added it to my To Read list, but it wasn't on my OMG Must Read This ASAP list. Then Shelley reached out and asked if I could do a review during her release blitz. Since it shares a book birthday and publisher with my sister's book, I agreed. Then I read the first page make that the first half of the book in the first night. Who needs sleep when you've got a book full of hot firefighters, a tough leading lady, and an arsonist to catch? Hm, didn't see [...]

This book was a refreshing read from a new author that I had never read before. I couldn't put it down! Katrina Hale- is a tough woman, she's not your typical I need a man in my life to survive type, or she doesn't think she is until she is threw into some life changing situations that may lead her to a certain man that only has eyes for her. Something happens that I don't want to spoil that makes Katrina put up her usual strong front, but could that be to only hide the pain she carries with her [...]

Full Review @abookishescape/2014/05I wanted this story to be so much more. I enjoyed it, but there were just a few things I would have done differently, and I felt like certain things were left open or unanswered. Nothing pertinent to the story but I’m a meticulous little bird and like to know everything about everything. I felt like so many things could have been avoided with just a little bit of communication but well isn’t that the foundation of so many tragedies. I recommend this for any [...]

Firstly, I have a number of songs that looped through my head the entire time I was reading 'Burn Me', including 'Feelin' Hot Hot Hot', 'Hot in Here', and of course, 'Burn Baby Burn', which I feel could have been the theme song for a few chapters.Secondly, this book was hot, in all senses of the word. It's coming up to winter Down Under, so I was definitely in need of something warm and fuzzy to brighten up my days, and, thanks to Ms. Watters, I got it. Not only was the romance sizzling, but her [...]

This was a quick, okay read. It was super hot and moved SUPER quick. Why was it just okay? I wanted more relationship building between the two leads. What happened between them happened so fast that it kind of fell to the background of what was happening around them - a crazy killer on the lose burning up womend he's got a certain woman in mind for who's next. You guessed it - our heroine. So while the hero was alpha and the heroine was sweet (but not too smart because she had too much pride) I di [...]

Burn Me is a quick and easy read. It doesn't make you think too much and moves quickly. I felt connected to Kat from the get go with her drive to be the best firefighter that she can possibly be. The love triangle including two brothers was a little unexpected but added to the intensity of the drama. There were a few times where the hopes and thoughts about connecting seemed a little redundant, but not boring. The addition of the serial killer and personal danger made sure to keep you interested [...]

Oohhhh what a brilliant hot read this was. I was sucked in from the start. Katrina is the main female character. It was great to read about such a strong character. Greyson is the main male character. He's a really hot fireman. I loved the secondary characters. The sex scenes were hot hot hot. I highly recommend this hot and steamy read. Once you start you won't want to stop.

I loved this book!! Although some parts of it were a bit repetitive and I did see some plot twists coming, overall, it was a really great read and I couldn't put it down!! The love scenes were HOT and the characters were flawed but lovable. What more can you ask for in a love story?

Wow, this was a perfect little Hot read!! I really didn't expect this book to be as good as it was. Loved it! I couldn't put it down. This is a must read if your looking for that hot, steamy read. Can't wait for for by this author

Loved it!! So much steam. So many emotions. A story that sucked me dry, but in the best possible way. Burn Me was exactly what I needed right now

This is the third time I've read Burn Me by Shelley Watters. I had the privilege of being a beta reader for this particular project many moons ago and I will say it's only gotten better with each read (and come on, who doesn't love the cover?). Kat is a firefighter who thinks she has something to prove and she's dating Eric, a not so wonderful boyfriend but oh-so-gorgeous. It just so happens that Eric is the brother of Greyson, who may just be that-much-more-gorgeous and who totally has a thing [...]
