My Kind Of Crazy is about Kendall Roarke, a recent divorcee, who is renovating an old house and plans to open it as a B&B, catering to weddings. Jonathan Reynolds is new in town and is a veterinarian working for his uncle. Midget is a Saint Bernard puppy who Kendall is fostering and always seems to be causing trouble of some sort. Jonathan seems interested in Kendall but Kendall doesn't want a relationship so soon after her divorce. Then there is the annoying neighbor who only wants to cause [...]

I loved this book. A great summer read! I can't wait to get my hands on all of Katie's books. I hear she has an amazing mermaid series. I'm going to read that next, because I love her voice in this book!

First, let me say I liked the story. It's a well developed plot with two kind-hearted main characters. Kendall "meets" Jon obliquely in her local coffee shop. At the time, the shop gossip is speculating that Jon is a bit too friendly with the matronly librarian (his aunt, though Kendall doesn't know this) with whom he is having coffee. Kendall is overly sensitive to infidelity--her own husband took off with a barely-legal waitress several months back and the divorce papers are freshly minted. So [...]

Rarely do I have the time to pick up a book and read it from beginning to end in one sitting. With My Kind of Crazy, it didn't really matter what my schedule allowed for, there was no stopping once I started this truly beautiful, “can’t put down” read. O’Sullian’s heroine, Kendall Roarke is moving forward after a painful divorce by throwing herself into the remodel of her Bed and Breakfast in the small Cape Cod town she lived in her whole life. She may not be prepared for the complicat [...]

Sometimes I'm in the mood for a sweet romance with some comedy so I was totally pleased when this book tickled my fancy. Jon I loved him there's just no other way to describe how I felt, "Jon cleared his throat. All that Cape Cod Red made it hard to think. Or maybe it was Kendall. "What am I doing? Catching your dog, and ruining my favorite tie in the process, is what I'm doing." I loved how caring he is, "what's going on?" Jon asked. Ken, are you all right? Is anyone hurt?" He went to stand nex [...]

My Kind of Crazy by Katie O’Sullivan is my kind of book. I love small-town, sweet romances, and this contemporary romance is all that and more. Kendall and Jon are real people with real problems, and I found myself really rooting for them to find their way to each other and get their fresh starts in life and in love. This is my first Katie O’Sullivan book, but it won’t be the last. I love her writing style and found this book to be an easy, breezy, enjoyable read. Definitely add this to you [...]

Katie O'Sullivan's My Kind of Crazy is the perfect summer vacation book. It's engaging with a lively story line, a handsome hero and a strong heroine to keep you riveted and turning those pages. And best of all - IT'S A DOG BOOK. There are too many cat books out there and it's nice to finally have a book with a big, slobbering dog helping the romance along.

I had not heard of nor read any books by Ms O'Sullivan prior to this novel. I shall look for more of her works in the future. I enjoyed both the story line and the characters in this novel. I thought it was well-written and edited, the characters were likeable and realistic, and the plot carefully developed.

My Kind of Crazy is a fun beach read set in Cape Cod, Mass. Stocked with quirky secondary characters, sexual chemistry, and a very cute puppy, the story pulls the reader along in an adorable tale. I loved the vividness of the setting--the small town was almost like a character giving so much life and vibrancy to the story.I greatly enjoyed Kendall and Jon's relationships with their friends and family. Kendall's friendship with the fun, dog-loving Dorothy her husband, Alan and Jon's relationship [...]

The is a wonderful sweet read that will leave readers with a good feeling. Kendall(Ken)is recently out of a bad marriage and is still smarting from the emotional wounds. She worries she's taking on a little more than she can chew with starting up a wedding business at her guesthouse, handling renovations herself, and a adopting a 60 pound dog that turns out to be a puppy with a lot of growing to do. Enter more complications with a neighbor from hell and a delicious new guy in town. As much as Ke [...]

O’Sullivan takes Cape Cod by storm with her latest romance. This coastal town comes to life at the tip of her pen. She tackles the issues that individuals deal with every day and wraps them up in a heartfelt, sometimes comical HEA package. Even with the HEA, there is realism that runs throughout. I found myself firmly grounded in the here and now throughout, rather than stuck in a fairy tale. I appreciate the gradual character development that O’Sullivan uses in this work. I felt like I was [...]

I'm a big fan of paranormal, as many of you know, but every now and then I like to take a break from the things that go bump in the night and curl up with a great romance. If it has an intriguing mystery built in, even better. My Kind of Crazy fits both categories and it didn't disappoint. Kendall Roarke is a strong character who is determined to make it on her own. She's recently divorced in a small town where everyone knows everyone's business. Kendall doesn't let the fact that the town knows [...]

This was a pleasant enough story, but is it okay to say my favorite character is a dog? A sweet six-month old puppy named Midget who has big feet, a big appetite, big soulful eyes, and big slobbery kisses. Yeah, I meant to say "big" that many times. He's a St. Bernard. A very lovable St. Bernard.Oh, the people are likeable enough, too. Most of them, anyway. The heroine is saddled with a real pain-in-the-derriere ex-husband and a Loony tunes kinda next door neighbor, but her best friend and new l [...]

Katie O’Sullivan’s My Kind of Crazy is a wonderful new contemporary romance ready to pull at your heart strings. This story hit many sweet spots for me- a strong female lead, a hot man who isn’t too sensitive, and a puppy. Kendall Roarke is a woman on a mission. Above all else, she’s trying to save her bed and breakfast after an awful divorce. Enter Jonathan Reynolds, a hot new divorcee who also happens to be the new town vet, and sparks begin to fly. There are so many good things I can s [...]

A fun summer beach read!My Kind of Crazy is my kind of sweet, contemporary romance. The characters are well done, two recently divorced people who are willing to take another chance at love. The locals in the story are well done, too, from those in the vet’s office to the police station. And I’m interested to know more about Kendall and her family, because those struggles and issues come into play as well. And I’m a sucker for a rescue dog. Glad to see him get his HEA, too. :pThe romance wa [...]

Wow this was an intense kind of crazy story, hence the name. Kendall's husband cheated on her with a teenager and was a major money swindler she just wanted to get on with her life and run a b&b in the Cape and host weddings.Jon's wife cheated on him with his partner so he sold his business and moved from CA to the Cape.Kendall and Jon learn a lot from each other in a sweet romance with some mystery thrown in. Great read.

I participated in an author event with Katie on the Cape a few weeks ago and was eager to read her book- so glad I did! It has all the best elements: a little mystery, a lot of setting, a fun cast of characters and just enough heat:)

One of the things I like most about owning a kindle is going through the top 100 free books weekly and selecting books that I would never thought of reading. Love discovering new authors. This book was pretty good. Great summer read.
