I want to say thank you to Netgalley and Xpresso Book Tours for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review. Lately I been really wanting to read contemporary books, mostly because its summer and I just want the fluff that comes with these kinds of books. This book was just that, it is a perfect summer read. I think my biggest issue when it came to the book was the romance between Andi and Ford took forever to happen, yes there was that instant attraction, but it didn't happen unt [...]

This was one hell of a roller coaster ride and I wasn't expecting so much drama! I normally avoid love triangles and I didn't realize this book was a love triangle when I first started reading but I have to say that I really enjoyed it. The only complaint I have was that I felt the ending was rushed. I feel like Andi was way too forgiving in the end and that kind of annoyed me. There were some things that I felt went unanswered, especially about Rachel and her relationship with Ford. I also wish [...]

Ebook provided by the author in exchange for an honest review As an avid reader, the stuff that happens behind the creation of a book fascinates me. As a frustrated writer, I have always wondered what life would be like as a writer and Paige Rion’s first novel in her Callaway Cove series just fed this curiosity of mine in such a delicious way. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Written on Her Heart is a perfect book to read on the beach this summer. The romance was sizzling hot and steamy without being [...]

Detailed Review: I had the honour of beta-reading WOHH for the author. No words can describe my admiration for the author after reading Written on Her Heart. The story is very simple, but this book proves to be one of those books that are simple yet touching. Also it has got these layers of secrets waiting to be peeled back at each turn of the page. WOHH tells a story about a girl who dreams of being a writer and when an opportunity arises that allows her to achieve her dreams, she eagerly takes [...]

This is the first book in the Calloway Cove Novel series and I really loved it. It is considered a New Adult novel-to find out exactly what that is here is the link where Paige Rion explains it on her blog Essentially it is a novel written somewhere in between a Young Adult Novel and an Adult novel. What ever it is it works for me!Andi Callaway, aspiring young author has one more year and she will have her college degree. She has been dating one of her ex professors who is a bit older then her. [...]

Have you ever read a book and see it play out like your watching a movie on a screen. Written on Her Heart by Paige Rion, was filled with D.R.A.M.A and it kept me intrigued from word to word, chapter to chapter all throughout. The debut novel is apart of the Callaway Cove series and I’m so glad it’s a series because me want more (said like a little kid wanting candy.) The narrative explored such a pivotal point of being a writer and the struggles you are faced.Everyone can relate at one poin [...]

With characters and a story line that will hook you in the first two chapters, Paige Rion’s Written On Her Heart will captivate you and leaving you anxiously downloading the next book in the trilogy.Written on Her Heart is the first of the Callaway Cove series and is about a young woman who is seeing all of her dreams come true with some struggles along the way, but none of the eye-rolling at the overly dramatic plot lines that you will occasionally find yourself doing with some of the contemp [...]

With friends like these, who needs enemies?!This book was filled with drama! So much so that I really felt like I needed some popcorn! I'm not joking. I loved it though. Every page was filled with some kind of drama! Whether it was best friends tearing each other's hair out and pushing each other into a pool, or men fighting over a girl, these pages were just filled with it! And normally I wouldn't be into this much drama but it was the sort that kept me wanting to read. You know that kind where [...]

I thought that this book was refreshing. It was another good one that got me back in the spirit of not only reading but writing as well. I loved that Andi was a writer. I loved that Ford was a writer. I loved the chemistry they had together. Paige Rion’s writing was easy to read, easy to comprehend, and lovely. I really related to Andi. I’m not sure if it was because she wrote like I do. Or if she was just a really relatable character. But, I loved reading about her and diving into her world [...]

I just spent the last few hours totally engrossed in Written On Her Heart and I must say that Paige Rion has been added to my list of favorite authors! Her writing is impeccable and the story was absolutely captivating. I totally fell in love with Callaway Cove with its history and small-town quaintness. Andi and Ford are so good together and I hope they get to make another appearance in future stories. There were other characters introduced that had their own troubles and issues so I hope we ge [...]

This was a delightful romance story about a young woman and her author idol. Combining a romance story with an inside look at the life of a celebrity author, this book was quick and enjoyable read. The focus was mostly on the characters, who were fully formed and believable. Andi was everyone’s friend, and I loved how she kept blurting out comments, even when they weren’t appropriate. It was endearing and amusing, and never malicious. Her “friend” Rachel though… Ugh, what a piece of work [...]

~*~My Thoughts~*~A 5 star rating I really enjoyed this book the story caught me from the beginning and definitely held on all the way till the end. Going into this I didn't really this was a love triangle type of story which I honestly try to avoid because they drive me crazy and I usually end up disliking the girl. This was definitely not the case with this book I loved Andi all the way through she was an awesome character. Ford I absolutely loved and I couldn't get enough of him. The only thin [...]

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.I am actually heart-sick about this book. The fact Andi called those two selfish pricks "friends" was awful. She literally had no one she could count on. Her parents were ancillary characters that didn't seem to care one way or the other about her. We didn't get closure about Rachel or Carmat that I necessarily wanted it, but it would have been nice for them to get their due after being so terrible to their so-called "best friend." And Peter? W [...]

~~ ARC provided by Obsessed by Books for an honest review ~~Written On Her Heart was a good book to read. It took me awhile to get into it. It started out slow and then it picked up half way through it. The book tells the story of Andi a small town girl who's big dreams are to become a writer. During a summer job that Andi tries to get she meets Ford who they become fast friends. They both compete against each other trying to get the writing job. Both Andi and Ford will do anything for various r [...]

Received an ARC for an honest review Actual Rating: 3.5Written on Heart was a pretty mediocre romance for me. First, I felt that nothing happened much with Andi and Ford. Like they didn't really had a main issue or even a main story. Second, the villains are very irritating which I think was a good thing until it became about them. Rachel being a bitch and Peter being the selfish and ambitious asshole. I wanted to bang their head to each other. Third, Ford was a quite boring romancer. There was [...]

This was an ok read for me. The writing was easy and flowing. Andi gets the opportunity of a lifetime when she gets a chance to work for her idol. Ford is a big time author hiding away from the paparazzi. I liked Andi even though she was very self absorbed. She thought her friends were selfish, when she barely was aware of what was happening to them. Ford was pushy, he didn't respect the relationship that Andi has with her boyfriend, Peter. Even if Peter was the right one, he crossed some bounda [...]

Written on Her Heart was an easy read that I enjoyed more than I expected. I loved the setup and I thought the romance was sweet with just the right amount of tension. Although I would have like just a little more of a plotline to hold my interest, I appreciated how well developed the main characters were. Ford was definitely swoony, although I didn’t like Andi as much as I had hoped. She could be somewhat immature, but I had to remind myself that she is fairly young. I look forward to reading [...]

  • Samantha

This is a light hearted read and a little predictable. Andi wants to be a writer so when an opportunity arises for her to work under one of her favorite authors she jumps at the chance. Ford is hiding from the media and working on his new book. He doesn't expect to fall in live until he meets Andi an he knows she's different. Add in secretive best friends, a jealous boyfriend an you get a good read.

  • Marianne Lowe

I loved this book! I could not put it down. I found myself relating easily with what the characters were feeling. The twists and turns kept me turning each page. Andi was a well written character with real feelings and thoughts. The interactions with her peers and with Ford and Peter helped you root for Andi to follow her heart and make the decision that was best for her.

  • Cristina Okal

It was a great story till the end was rushed at the end and she just forgives him for hiring her no good friend and leaving with her acting all chummy?? That's bullshit.I loved the story till the end it was just frustrating

  • SeeKikiRead

I enjoyed the overall story and romance but there are way too many unlikable characters in this one. It got very irritating at times. Still, not a bad book. Full review here at SeeKikiRead.

Loved this book! I can't wait until the second one comes out!!

  • Shh I'm reading!

I couldn't deal with the stupidity of the heroine and a romance book with competitive catty girlfriends. Support each other people! Stopped at 80 pages and gained a day back of my life.

  • Kate

Too much drama for me. maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind when I read this book but it just wasn't all that enjoyable of a read for me.
