Based upon, and continuing Enid Blyton's Malory Towers series. Felicity is Head Girl of Malory Towers! Eager to prove herself, she has her hands full with naughty first formers, and a very mysterious new form-mate who is strangely familiar. Enid Blyton's Malory Towers series was one that I devoured as a child. So, finding that Pamela Cox had continued this series using Felicity Rivers, the younger sister of Darrell Rivers from the original series, was a delight! In this installment of her series [...]

This is one of the better of the Enid Blyton continuations. While the plot is unlikely, it builds on the canonical Malory Towers books in a enjoyable way, and Violet and Daffy (Sally's little sister) are fun additions to the series.

  • Annebeth

These books always give me feelings of nostalgia, I always loved reading about Malory Towers! In this one, people I remember from the Darrell series come back and they are more mischievous than before. While it's quite old-fashioned now, these little books are lovely quick reads for anyone who used to read boarding school stories.

Lol I never feel too old for an Enid Blyton! I have lapped up every famous five, every school girl series, and recently bought the entire Malory towers set because over the years some old books have disappeared Some lent, some donated. Thoroughly loved the term with Felicity, Daffy, Alice, and the rest of the girls :)

-I decided to read this book because I had read several in the series that I liked.-The category on the bingo board that this completes is a book written by a female.-What I liked about this book was the vivid descriptions of the setting and characters. I also liked the way that the author wrote the book with humour twisted throughout it because I love a book that makes me have a good laugh somewhere in it.-What I didn't like about this book was the fact that some of the characters are self-abso [...]

it's great to revisit Malory Towers i like the way the author giving a twist on Alice's identity .what i didnt like was Violet. the ending was a bit too simple to accept , based on Violet 's spoil brat attitude.

  • Laura

I liked this one the best so far (of the Cox' books). The 'who is Alice' thing was very entertaining and I'm looking forward to reading the last of the series.

The most exciting story Pamela Cox wrote!!!!!!!!

  • Anousha Ambar

As I had already told in the review of Malory towers book number 7 that the books have become more interesting, well that came out to be the truth as this book is the best of them all. Well the main reason for this may be that i love suspense and this book had a little bit of that making it more exciting.

Revisiting the books of my youth out of a feeling of nostalgia! I loved Enid Blyton when I was younger and can't wait to re-read these with my own children.

  • Kirsti

Alright, I tried and failed to remember who might have been the 'bad girl' in Felicity's second year. It was a fun reveal because I simply couldn't remember, along with the characters. I particularly liked how this book followed Daffy as well- another spin off series, please? She is a fun character with plenty of growing to do. Who would have guessed Sally's young sister would be such a monkey?Another fun book, like the rest this is a five star book!

  • Lourdes

It's pretty clear that Daffy is the opposite than her sister Sally. I wonder how Felicity and her parents can't see how she really is. I mean, her parents seem to be aware of Sally's jealousy issues on the first Malory adventure and they are completely unaware of Daffy's misbehavior.I'm glad that Jo has come back to Malory Towers as a different person. Looking forward to read the last one.

  • Bethany

Enjoyable as ever, and having some of the stories of the new first form, with Sally's sister Daffy, really added to the fun. Daffy was a pleasant addition, and having Willow involved, plus Alice's mystery (which I myself didn't actually see through, as it's been some time since I've read the original series) made for some less recycled stories. This made this particular instalment stand out as my favourite of the new series.

  • Sally

Absolutely loved this one and I was sucked right into the mystery of Alice! I solved it a bit quicker than the girls did though - it was the locket that gave it away for me because I've read the original MT books so much that when I saw the initials JJ I almost instantly though of Jo Jones!

  • Poem Fanatic

I absolutely love this book. It makes me imagine that the school I am in is Malory Towers.Just like any good book, it makes me feel like a spectator, and sometimes I find myself imagining to be one of the charachters.

  • Michelle

Several secrets are revealed. I figured out one of them before it was revealed but it was no wonder it took Felicity so long to figure it out.

  • Zoe

    awesome

  • Sherya

BOOK WAS FUN INTRESTING TO READ .ENJYOED THE WHOLE TIME I READ IT

  • Kirsty

I KNEW IT I KNEW IT WAS JO THAT WAS BACK!

  • Thachitri

A good book for kidsting and enjoyable!!!!Thanks Enid Blyton

  • Ananya Goswami

daffy is exactly the opposite of sally

  • Caoilinn

    FAB

  • Melissainau

One of the best of the second series of Malory Towers books.

  • Suha

This book was one of the more disappointing books in the series in my opinion.

  • Caoilinn

    it was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Allevia Syarif

I've read it when I was in Junior High School I collect it all, and It inspires me to entrance the boarding school when I was in senior high school :)

  • Caoilinn

    FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aliza Mehdi

i think that all malory towers books have got that excitement in them. No book of these series should be rated less than 5 stars.

  • Emma Rose Ribbons

Just a tad unrealistic what with the soap opera plot of a girl's new identity but I enjoyed this a lot nonetheless. Loved Willow the cat too.

  • Angela

Another good installment, though a little bit odd. It rather stretches the boundaries of disbelief with the storyline involving different identities. However, I enjoyed it and now onto the last book!
