    I agree with a comment made in the introduction to this collection - reading the previews provided by booksellers does not give a reader a fair representation of a book. That is why I purchased this guide. There are a number of authors in this collection I am familiar with but have not read any of their work. By reading the excerpts, I can pick out the books that interest me (which is just about all of them).What a wonderful idea from Stephen Hise and KS Brooks. I hope they continue with the "Fi [...]

    This was an interesting concept but it didn't click for me. It's hard to really get the feel for too many books by just reading the first chapter. I didn't find myself wanting to check out to many of the books, and unfortunately, I'm sure that's what the author's intent was.
