This short novella is an introduction to the fantasy world of this series. It teases out some information that may be very important to the future of the series and really made me interested in reading more about this world the author has created. I'm really intrigued by the prophecies she gives as well as by the differentiation in the Knowledge that Koreen has from her childhood and the Dark Magic that the prior king had used to summon the demons that are now ravaging the land.

Great Lead in!!This was an extremely well written lead-in to the "Pangaea series" by Sondra Allan Carr. There is a scene that may be disturbing to some, but has an important role in the story. Looking forward to the next full size novel, "The Beast"

Wonderful beginning to a series! Picking up "The Beast," the next part in the World of Pangea
