This was a touching and sweet Christmas story!!! The hero and heroine were both likable and realistic. And the little boy was absolutely adorable. The story swept me up in the holiday spirit and had me rooting for these two to make things work out. I'd highly recommend it. :-)

This was a very good book with some intense emotions. I really liked Maggie, but she did make a really big mistake at the very beginning. A year later she is still reeling from revelations that came out at her father's death. He had another daughter that he hadn't told his family about. That daughter is dead and Maggie is devastated over the fact she'd never get to know her. When she finds out that her sister had a young son and that his father was looking for a nanny, she applied. All she wante [...]

I'm only giving this book 4 stars. As I thought Maggie came across as selfish. And she should have been upfront with Josh from the beginning. I felt so sorry for Josh, he was clearly beating himself up about his wife's death. Not allowing himself anything Lucy couldn't have. He had to work through some issues before his happily ever after. The little boy Cody was a cutie .

This book had two of my biggest pet peeves. First, the whole plot is based on a character keeping a secret that could easily be explained. Then, when the secret comes out, the "victim" over reacts and completely loses sympathy by acting like a jerk.

Josh and Maggie start off wrong when she has a secret and he finds out. He's not very forgiving but maybe he can get past it. His son wants a new mom. Could that be Maggie?

"Weaver's wonderful narrative weaves mystery and drama, and her couple's tale of woe is the perfect mix of heartbreak and hope. Her co-stars shine in a gossipy, small-town way, and Cody is just the right blend of innocence and precociousness." RT Book Reviews, rated 4 stars

It was such a sweet story of finding love again. I sympathised with Maggie and why she kept her secret well a secret, whilst we could all see it was completely wrong. But she couldn't win with either one anyway. I'm glad they all got their happy ending! :)

It was a good book but somehow right in the middle of the book, a bit dragging and have to say, too many additional characters which makes it a bit confusing for a bit. But I did enjoyed it very much.

It was fun to read a story where I was cheering for both main characters! I truly liked both and was glad for a Christmas miracle!!
