I really enjoyed this novel. Parts of it really took me by surprise.(I may have cried a little, both happy and sad tears.) I wasn't expecting to feel as strongly as I did about Catch A Falling Star. I expected a fun, quick and easy read; while it was all those things, it was more too. I'm a sucker for re-telling of fairy-tales, so that was my driving factor for picking up Catch A Falling Star. I have to say, I'm truly impressed with the story and the author's writing. Once I started reading, I w [...]

A romance novel has pretty straightforward expectations, but this one had me hanging in the balance more than a few times. I really wasn't convinced for the first part, but then I just couldn't put it down. When someone is in the hospital, you are in the hospital. I hesitate to say more, because there were places where I just was not sure how it would turn out. In real life, there is more than one happy ending.

Classic story, I got it as a free download. I rated it four stars not because of the characters or story line, but because of the intelligent humor, delicate and 'in-between-the-lines' jokes and because without warning the author makes you laugh out loud, which is quite surprising for an easy read like this. I re-read it after a few days just to pay more attention to the word choices and small details.

Got this as a free download a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed it. I found the main characters believable and kept reading the next chapter just to see what happened next - which is always a good sign. It was a fun read and I am glad I did. I did shed a few tears and have a little cry so that's always a good sign.

I know, it was taking me awhile to finish this book, but once I got into it, I couldn't stop. The last 20 pages, or so, made me cry, both for sadness and for happiness. I'm glad I finished reading it.

I was sent a free ePub of this book through some email list I'm not sure how I got on. A quick, easy read - kind of Mary Higgins Clark-ish, but without the mystery. I could easily see it turned into a Hallmark Hall of Fame type movie.

I really liked these characters. Maybe a little too pat in wrapping everything up at the end, but that's the way I like it!
