Pretty much paint by numbers here; I kept reading only due to the main charactere was the only thing interesting going on here in this rather hackneyed Jack the Ripper rip--off. still in all, I did finish the book which is a shame because the ending was rather predictable and uninspiring. I'm liberal thus 3 stars.
