I must say this is a new favorite book of mine that I can't wait to use when I get into the classroom. This books does an amazing job of explaing the plants and the characteristics of each planet in a way an elementary student can understand. I aslo really like this book because it asks the students questions inside and lets them try to answer them but then gives them the answer. The pictures are really neat and look like cut outs. There is also history about the plants included in the text too! [...]

This is a great book for teaching about planets or for kids who love to learn about our solar system. The pictures in this book are very descriptive and look real. This is a great book for kids who enjoy looking at the pictures and for kids who enjoy having little bits of facts to read.

This book contains all the information children should know about outer space. It goes into detail about the temperatures on each planet and how long one year last in comparison to life on Earth. I would use this in an upper grade level class such as, 3rd-5th grades.
