What an awesome way to end the graphic novels! This was by far my favorite story of the three, I only wish there were more. Can you imagine not only blood and gore - but kinky sex orgies as well? *lusty grin* Oh well, it wasn't meant to be.One thing I do know; I will definitely be continuing this series. I only hope I won't regret it But for now I'm actually looking forward to the outrageous sex fest. Wheeee!

I don't know why I keep reading theseI loved the Anita Blake novels in the beginning and I like the graphic novels but they are so damn bloody and gross and icky, just like the books but I keep reading them, I'm kind of a masochist when it comes to vampire books. I hate them and love them at the same time

Not too bad. Comic seemed okay. Anita seems like an okay character. Hope Larry will do okay working with Anita. Would you recommend reading this series? What do you think of Anita Blake?

I see most folk really enjoy Anita's transition to visual medium (but what I ask you are they going to do when the graphic novels catch up to ultra-sexy Anita? Are they going to become very graphic novels???!?) Personally I didn't enjoy this one as much.Loved the original novel, one of my favorite early Anita books. What bugged me about the graphic novel is that it felt like too much was squeezed into dialogue and narrative. I would have thought dialogue was ideal for the medium but I found myse [...]

I love these stories, and I love Brett Booth's Anita - The art in this book though, isn't Booth. It isn't only Anita either - why is Richard only about 19? The story - well, it is difficult to get 300+ pages into 15 comic books. They leave a lot out.

And that was the last graphic novel based on Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake. I'm a bit sad, to be honest. I quite enjoyed seeing the Hamilton's characters coming to life under my eyes. I probably wouldn't have like the plots but still if Brent Booth had been in charge of the art, I'd have read the whole series. I do prefer his way of drawing compare to Lim's one.I said not liking the plots. Uhm, I don't know. I used to love Anita because she was so strong and because she kept saying "no" to J [...]

Another great set of graphic novels based on the book. Anita this time is contending with a master vampire that is leading others in a feeding frenzy. Victims have been found with multiple bites which would seem to keep them from being turned. There is someone trying to take the city from Jean-Claude and Anita seems to be the key. To top things off Richard is making his move on Anita even though Jean-Claude told him to stay away. Lots of things going on that cannot help but keep your attention a [...]

  • Jamie Anderson

WOW!! Loved getting to see - actually 'see' - my favorite characters in action Didn't think i would enjoy these graphic novels as much as i am - can't wait for the next series! Laurell's such an amazing writer, and i have loved Anita Blake for years, but seeing the stories come to life in this genre has made me even more of a fan!

  • Racquel

One of the better graphic novel adaptations. The tension between Jean-Claude and Anita is primed along with Richard asking Anita out and Edward along for another vampire hunt - one that will determine the fate of the city. Not much in the way of police work, but still a lot more true to character and story development than the later books. Makes me want to re-read the early series.

  • Kathryn

My library does not carry the second volume, so I read 1 and 3. :)There's a whole lot of breasts in 1, and a lot of blood in them all. Again, I liked the writing, and the art, a nice shallow-depth but visual representation of Anita. I liked it.

  • Nidah (SleepDreamWrite)

I liked this one and well, the storyline and characters were more interesting here. Especially the art style. Also, now that I'm caught up with the graphic novels, now I can start continuing where I left off with the books. Which is I think book 2? Anyway, pretty good volume.

  • Brit

I love this book in orginal form and graphic novel a nice visual. But I forgot how stoburn Anita can beand how ridiculious. But still amazing and I love Richard in the beginning. So overall great and I love the ending. But poor Alejandro who is beautiful and a great bad guy :(.

  • Rachel

The stunning conclusion to the Circus of the Damned has so many thrills that are unexpected and this was one that I had to read straight through because I just needed to know what happened! So wonderful and it's unfortunate that the graphic novels stopped here.

  • Ashley

Anita's pumpkin sweater. Let her show you it.

  • Myka

I love Jean-Claude. That is all.

  • Nici

Just to be clear: I'm not a fan of this whole Jean-Claude puppy love thingy and that's why I did not enjoy this whole adaptation or the novel as much as the previous ones.

  • emily_oriley

Wonder just how far there're gonna go with this series -they pretty much have to stop after The Killing Dance

  • Nomad nimrod

Guy should really get a new shirt. Overall i enjoyed reading it.

  • Holly

Still good, but Anita is so judgy in this one. She gets burned for it, but it's annoying for a little bit.

  • Rachel Thomas

love the anita Blake graphic novels

  • Sara

    Excellent! The Lamia is crazy!!
