Amazing inquiry into reframing the context most people live from

  • NormaCenva

Could not connect with the writing & the message of the book at all!

My favorite books are Conversations with God. Storm before the Calm, calls us to take the teachings of the other books, and affect change in Humanity. What humanity has been doing has done nothing little for the human condition because of the way we view the world - through the physical and mental and not spiritual. Very deep book actually and one I will want to read again. Feeling personal responsibility for changing the world is scary but also exciting and adventurous. I'd like to become close [...]

Press Release Description:Something happened in early 2011 that hasn’t happened in decades, perhaps centuries—and we didn’t even notice it. That is, we didn’t see it for what it was.Massive unrest from Tunisia to Egypt to Libya rocked the Arab world and threw the globe into political crisis. Within days, an earthquake-tsunami-nuclear calamity of terrifying proportions shocked Japan and sent the world reeling once again, even as the globe’s financial markets shuddered to sustain themsel [...]

Was anyone else disappointed when they went to the website Neale mentions in Conversation #1 of the book? He said go to theglobalconversation, and to navigate to The Storm Before the Calm button. He also mentions that "at this special website, there's also a separate icon inviting you to post your ideas, your thoughts, your concepts, and your inspirations regard the contents of Humanity's New Cultural Story." He even later says that you can create your own Topic Board to contribute to the conver [...]

I spent the majority of my time reading this book with my heart saying YES YES YES, and at the same time my cynical side kept saying NEVER EVER EVER. Walsch has some radical ideas - about humanity, human culture and God - that ring true on one level and sound like utopian fantasy on another.I suppose I am proving his point, that our current culture has convinced me that a truly connected society that cares about everyone isn't possible, and that the only way is survival of the fittest and every [...]

This is an awesome book for the times we are living in -- especially during the elections!Walsch leads us through our old cultural story and the need to create a new one.My Book Circle is reading this -- and this has created the most passionate discussions in the 2 years we've been meeting together!

  • Alex

Great book overall. Some of the material is repeated from his other books but is a great refresher. It took me a while to finish this one but, like with all his other books, was glad I read it. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to further the new paradigm that's emerging in the world of having individuals take back and create their life experience more consciously.

  • Adam Ouellette

one of the most important books any human could read right now! This is a must read for all he human race Outlines our issues and very viable solutions to it all Thanks Neal for this incredible work

  • Karen

It is a book I want to come back to The questions need to be asked regularly, and the answers needs to be updated by yourself on a regular basis! It is an easy read, but also a change of heart, mind and soul is required! One of my best books of all time!

  • Tom Currier

Outstanding book, one of the best I have read since A Course in Miracles. This book does what I don't think any book has ever done (at least that I've read). In and part of its spiritual message it also conveyed the essence of the EST training that was popular in the late 70's early 80's.

  • Osvelio Lastre

Once again, Mr. Walsch presents some very cool ideas about how to recreate our cultural story, one that teaches of unity and oneness as opposed to separation and competition. He never fails to provoke my thinking and imagination.

  • Pascale

Very interesting read. All ideas presented are clear and well explained. It makes you re-think existing ideas and their influences on the way we live our lives.I suggest it to everyone from every culture or religion.

  • John Sapp

  • Fahima Karim

Beautiful thoughts about future . I hope it happens.

  • Sarah Edgerton

I honestly believe that if everybody read this book this world would take leaps and bounds in the right direction. This is a must-read.

  • Michelle

I really enjoyed Conv. w/god book 1. After that, the author lost me and this book was the worst in the series. 2 page chapters and then 2 pages of bullet points about the chapter.

  • Roger Ingram

    One word: Awesome!

  • Brandi Lee

Not as good as Conversations on with God
