This book should have been titled Lydia the spoilt brat This book was more about Stephen and his journey about learning about the difference between a patriot and a loyalist at the height of the Boston Massacre. As always learning about history through these books are great but this is the first time the title character did not fit the role Lydia was no patriot, just said she was one Disappointed

I really enjoyed reading Lydia the Patriot. I thought that it was an interesting story. I would like to read more books by this author.Lydia the Patriot is about a 12 year old girl named Lydia. This story takes place in the 1700's when America was trying to break free of the british and become a country. Lydia and her brother Steven have different opinions about how America should operate. They occasionaly get into arguments. Everyone should read this book.

This was my least favorite of the "Sisters in Time" books--because of the annoying personality of Lydia, who disobeys her parents, taunts her brother, etc!

  • Alani Morris

I liked this book, but I think it should be called (whatever the boys name is.) but the book was good.

I do not like this book it was all about the boy instead of Lydia. If it is called Lydia the Patriot then make it be about Lydia! That was really annoying. But it had a good story line. I just wish she just made a story about the boy.

This series takes girls on an adventure of a lifetime as they learn about historical events and how it affected the lives of the girls, who lived through it. Great read for girls.

The story wasn't even about Lydia, who was a brat.
