I enjoyed the fun little vignette of Jonty and Orlando at the big cricket match with Jonty doing the narrating. The little mystery showcased their personalities and skills and their engaging partnership. A definite gift to fans. Here's the link for others if they want to read it: charliecochranevejournal

Good, albeit brief, historical m/m mystery that takes place behind-the-scenes at a cricket match between England and Australia.

I read this originally a couple of years ago but never got around to reviewing so I decided to give it a re-read. It's still as fun as I originally thought. I just love Jonty & Orlando, in big or small doses doesn't matter because they are just plain fun and entertaining no matter what.

One for fans of the series otherwise it will not make much sense.Very short and More of a well intended act than mystery or deception but enjoyable for Jonty and Orlando.Liked the preface.27.12.17 reread : do love a bit of Jonty and Orlando outside of Cambridge.

Is this how an American story written by an American writer filled with American expressions reads to a non-American reader? If found bits of this story to be very rough going indeed.
